Bloomington Jefferson senior defenseman Justin Woodley has committed to play NCAA Division II lacrosse at C.W. Post.

Woodley said he also considered Sacred Heart, Drexel and Denver before settling on the Brookville, N.Y.-based school.

“C.W. Post has a really good program and a history of winning,” Woodley said. “I just felt comfortable with their coaching staff and everything they have to offer.”

Woodley added that he is amped to take his game to the college level.

“I’m really excited,” he said. “I’m hoping to help Post push their program even more and hopefully play in a national championship game. I’m looking forward to the challenge of playing at a higher level.”
