Legacy senior middie Joey Bustamante has signed a national letter of intent to play NCAA Division II lacrosse at Dominican College.

Bustamante said he also considered Wittenberg and Westminster before settling on the Orangeburg, N.Y.-based school.

“The guys there are great,” Bustamante said. “I fit in like a brother to the team. I liked the coach. He’s a great guy, and it also came down to academics and financially.”

Bustamante added that he can’t wait to take his game to the next level.

“I’m stoked,” he said. “Especially as a West Coast kid going to the East Coast, it’s a dream come true for me.”
