AZ GIRLS: Jenn McDonald Commits to High Point University
March 10th, 2010
Pinnacle senior middie Jenn McDonald has committed to play NCAA Division I lacrosse at High Point University.
As a junior, McDonald helped lead Pinnacle to its first Arizona Girls Lacrosse Association state championship.
High Point is a new program that will take the field for the first time in 2011. McDonald is the third female player from Arizona to ever commit to play Division I lacrosse.
“We are very excited to add Jenn to our incoming class,” High Point assistant coach Whitney Michele said. “She is an extremely athletic midfielder who has great field vision and scoring attributes. Jenn has an innate ability to finish whenever she is near the goal. She is a competitor who genuinely loves the game of lacrosse and is excited about taking on the challenge of being a part of a brand-new Division I program.”
