MEN: Former Dartmouth Head Coach Joins Air Force Staff

July 27th, 2009

The Air Force Academy has named former Dartmouth head coach Bill Wilson as its final assistant coach, the school announced Monday in a news release.

Wilson coached six seasons at Dartmouth, leading the Big Green to a 40-44 record. He joins a staff that includes head coach Eric Seremet and assistant Rob Koehler.

“We are excited to welcome Coach Wilson to the Falcon lacrosse family,” Seremet said. “He brings with him a tremendous amount of experience and success, both on the field and in recruiting. Our ability to bring him to Colorado Springs is another step forward for our program.”

A native of Syracuse, N.Y., Wilson is a 1994 graduate of Loyola (Md.), where he was a four-year starting defenseman. As a player, his teams advanced to the NCAA Division I quarterfinals three times.
