June 27th, 2009
Colorado College head coach David Zazzaro has announced his resignation and will officially step down July 8.
Zazzaro went 52-44 in eight seasons with the Tigers. Including his time at Colby College, Zazzaro has an all-time record of 122-96.
“I am proud of our accomplishments over the past eight years, and I feel humbled that the players, coaches and I contributed, in a small way, to positively enhancing the Colorado College men's lacrosse story,” Zazzaro said in a news release.
A replacement has not yet been named. Colorado College went 9-6 under Zazzaro in 2009.
“At this time, after being a head coach for 17 seasons, I feel like it is time to pursue other opportunities,” Zazzaro said. “I am grateful for all of the fond memories and friends that I have made with the students, coaches, parents, alumni, and staff during my time here.”
