NEV BOYS: Cory Wojciechowski Commits to Mount St. Joseph
June 16th, 2009
Bonanza senior middie Cory Wojciechowski has committed to play NCAA Division III lacrosse at the College of Mount St. Joseph.
Wojciechowski, who moved to Las Vegas from Baltimore when he was 8, said he also considered Notre Dame de Namur and Salisbury before settling on the Cincinnati-based school.
“I wanted to get a big full-time college experience,” Wojciechowski said. “I visited the school at the end of last month, and it really gave me the feel for the town where I was born in Maryland.”
Wojciechowski is the second player from the Southern Nevada Lacrosse Association to commit to Mount St. Joseph. He will join Palo Verde senior attackman Conner White.
“I’m very excited,” Wojciechowski said. “From high school to college is a big step. It’s a lot more intense, and it’s a faster-paced game. I’m stoked to play.”
