NLL: Cory Conway Leads Portland LumberJax Past Edmonton

Forward Cory Conway registered a game-high seven points on four goals and three assists to lead the Portland LumberJax to a 15-10 victory over the Edmonton Rush before a crowd of 6,894 Friday night at the Rose Garden.
Derek Malawsky added six points on a goal and five assists, Tyler Codron had five points on three goals and two assists and Ryan Powell finished with five points on a goal and four assists to help the LumberJax (2-3) win for the second time in their last three games.
Also making big contributions for Portland on Friday: Tim Campeau dished four assists, Matt Brown had two goals and an assist and Pat Jones won 21-of-29 face-offs.
Defensively, Portland goalie Matt Disher saved 50 shots.
For Edmonton (1-2), Dan Teat had a team-high five points on two goals and three assists, Jason Wulder added four points on two goals and two assists and Ryan Benesch scored two goals and dished one assist.
Portland led 5-3 at the end of the first quarter, 9-5 at halftime and 13-7 going into the fourth quarter. Edmonton never came closer than five goals in the fourth quarter.
