MEN: Chad Stelling, Joe Jenkins Take Over at Oregon State

Oregon State University has named Chad Stelling and Joe Jenkins as the new co-head coaches of the men’s lacrosse program.

Stelling and Jenkins take over at OSU after having led the Century High School varsity program the past two seasons. The tandem led the Jaguars to a 20-15 record, including 13-7 in 2009.

Century advanced to the second round of the state playoffs this past season.

The pair takes over an Oregon State team that went 6-6 in 2009.

Stelling, an Oregon native, former player and 2002 graduate of Oregon State, returns to Corvallis after having spent the past six seasons coaching high school lacrosse at Century and Liberty.

A native of La Plata, Md., outside Washington D.C., Jenkins played four seasons of NCAA Division I lacrosse at Mount St. Mary's (Md.) as a goalie from 1992 to 1995. Over the past several seasons at Century, Jenkins has served in various roles from JV to varsity head coach.
