Semifinals?

 Take your pick

Nado or Torrey?

RB or LCC?

Seeding Call

Game was a non event for LCC's ranking status. Still will be #1 and Coronado #2. up for grabs is the #3, and 4 spots. But I've seen some real "different" interpretations before. I would really doubt any change to the top spots, just the next two.

TORREY PINES

Torrey Pines just knocked off La Costa . Should mix up the rankings come playoffs. Its going to be interesting as to who #1 is. Coronado, Torrey and LCC all have strong cases.

El Toro beat foothill 12-11

El Toro beat foothill 12-11

Beckman @ Torrey Pines game

Amazing game today as Beckman (ranked #17) led by two goals at halftime against #5 Torrey Pines, eventually losing by a lone goal. Clearly this Beckman team is for real, having defeated Foothill (OC) earlier this season by an amazing 13-3 score.

Beckman vs Newport

Newport gave Beckman a run for it's money Thursday at Beckman. Curious to see how the rankings change this week with a score of 13-11 (note: a questionable charging call against Newport that would have tied it 10-10) Nice game Newport!! You girls played awesome!!

rankings

It was Mater Dei's first game, there was no need for Redondo to run up the score. Redondo played 25 girls and the starters played a little more than half the game. The same substituion pattern for wins vs Beverly Hills, Peninsula, Brentwood, Culver City. LaCanada

No knock on SMES, their schedule is tougher. But do teams really need to run up the score in high school girls lacrosse for better rankings?

System Malfunction

There was a system malfunction tonight that deleted these rankings and the thread and all the comments. I just had to re-type everything back in. The comments, unfortunately, were not recoverable. My apologies

Monte Vista - key player injuries

Monte Vista lost 3 straight (La Costa Canyon, Torrey Pines, Baldwinsville)with their top player, Jillian Bush, in street clothes and their best defender, Melissa Trisko also in street clothes due to injuries. I'm betting you will see a return to winning with both of them in the line up.
