Robbinsdale Cooper senior defenseman Balor Husom has committed to play NCAA Division III lacrosse at Carthage College.

Husom is a four-time letter winner and has been a captain at Robbinsdale Cooper since he was a sophomore. He has played his club lacrosse with the Minnesota Lax Loons, and in the fall he was selected to the Southern Combat 99 All-Star Team.

Carthage head coach David Neff said Husom is exactly the type of player he wants to bring to the Kenosha, Wis.-based campus.

“Balor is an athletic player with good stick skills who fits well into the aggressive style of defense we are implementing into our young program here at Carthage,” Neff said.
