Cherry Creek senior middie Annie Anton has signed a national letter of intent to play NCAA Division I lacrosse at Stanford University.

Anton was named a U.S. Lacrosse High School All-American as a junior, when she helped lead Cherry Creek to the Colorado High School Activities Association state championship game. Anton has also recently been named by WSL as the No. 1 ranked female lacrosse player in the West.

Anton is one of two players from Colorado to sign with Stanford. When she gets to the Northern California-based campus, she’ll be joined by Fountain Valley goalie Maxine Luckett.
