ORE BOYS: Aaron Eggiman Commits to Mesa State College

Liberty senior middie Aaron Eggiman has committed to play NCAA Division II lacrosse at Mesa State College.

Eggiman said he also considered Simon Fraser, Oregon and Oregon State before settling on the Grand Junction, Colo.-based school. Eggiman is the 26th player to commit to Mesa State, which begin playing in the spring of 2011.

“I just liked the location and the DII level,” Eggiman said. “It’s hard to find on this side of the country. It just seemed like the right fit.”

Eggiman added that he believes he is prepared to make the transition to the college level.

“I think I’m ready,” he said. “I’m excited about it. We seem to have a good coach. I don’t know him too well, but he seems to have a good record.”
